March began with the usual product photography and copying of paintings for local artists, one very interesting assignment which is in the process of being completed is for a very large local retail outlet, that are in the process of increasing the size of their shop/showrooms, they were looking for a photographic images of countryside landscape, animals (sheep and cattle), recognizable locations local to St Columb. When added as a panoramic photography around their showroom the print will be of one image 91mts long by 60cm deep. I checked out the area for suitable locations and in the end decided to take the shot from a hill at the top of Dennis Farm just west and below Castle and Dinas. It looks out west down over St Agnes and Lands End and North you can see Rough Tor & Brown Willy, a stunning view. I took a series of shots with a Nikon D700 and 70mm lens and stitched the images together in Stitcher 5. My client was very pleased with the shot and looking forward to the large print.

We have just finished a 5 day shoot for a spectacle frame company, the photographs will be used in their 2009 brochure, due out in April, also for exhibition stands and display stands. Two models from MOT model agency in London were brought down for the shoot, mainly studio shots but we did cover with shots on Mawgan Porth Beach. The whole shoot was very successful.
